I began selling pottery in 1978 while attending Notre Dame College in southern New Hampshire. After receiving my BFA I taught for 8 years and traveled, studying  contemporary and ancient pottery techniques. Through the decades my work evolved from functional items with distinctive flowing glaze patterns, fountains, lamps, and raku, toward more sculptural pieces with animal references. I began applying my specialized glaze palette to increasingly complex sculptures of all sizes and types, and my work has found it's way into collections worldwide. Through collaborations with colleagues and constant experimentation, my body of work continues to transform and evolve. I live and work on the shore of pristine Massabesic Lake in Auburn, NH, with my wife and two cats.
